Character Profile: Harley Quinn is an unstable, intelligent practical jokester who left her career as a Psychologist to turn to a life of crime. During her time in Arkham Asylum, she met Jack Napier (The Joker), a patient whom she treated. She fell in love with him, helped him to mistake and became his devoted follower and love interest. She is careless, oblivious, driven, obsessive, and doesn’t follow any rules.
Card Analysis: Harley is the perfect persona to embody the spirit of the Fool card, as the fool is thought to be a dreamer. In this card, we see that she is leaping off of a building and instead of looking ahead of her, she is looking behind her. In other words, she is not watching where she is going.
Divinatory meaning: The Fool is eager to start a new journey. She has what she thinks she needs, and is ready to move forward. However, one has to ask if they are really prepared for such a journey if all they have is the clothes on their back and a mallet. This card suggests that the querent is hopeful, but unrealistic.
